This is the power adapter for the same company's "Quadra Merger" product. Not too much can rewritten about a power adapter after all... but the product it provides power for does indeed merit praise in my eyes:

I perform all over Europe and the Middle East and fly often with a LOT of equipment. In my shows I control everything on stage with MIDI software I write and hardware I build myself, so it's imperative to have good and reliable apparatus.

This little gadget provides functionality that is difficult to find else where and in a super reliable way - I've been performing with it for years, under quite intensive conditions with lots of flights and hauling, and there was never the slightest issue with it.

An excellent product in a well needed niche.

Midi Solutions Power Adaptor

I have found the the Midi Solutions Power Adaptor to be indispensable when using other Midi Solutions midi processing units, such as Event Processors, Mergers, Thru's etc in a chain.
The Midi Solutions Power Adaptor will power up to 20 Midi Solutions devices.
The Power Adaptors become necessary, since many electronic organs, and other electronic musical instruments, have insufficient power available from the midi_out socket on the instrument.
In some instances the LED on the Midi Solutions box lights up, but the unit does not function.
This is because the LED requires such a small amount of power in comparison to the other electronics in the box.
The Midi Solutions Power Adaptor will power up to 20 Midi Solutions Devices.
Midi Solutions publish, on_line, a long list of electronic organs and other devices which insufficient power on the midi_out.

Provides MIDI power when devices don’t have it natively. Seems like it could be a lot smaller than it is though. It’s mostly just a plastic box of air.

Solution la plus interessante pour tirer de grandes longueur en midi ( par un multipaire audio par exemple ) .
Je m'en sert en tournée de la scène à la régie avec parfois 100m à 120m entre les deux appareil . Aucun soucis !!
Par contre il faut pour être totalemnt sur avoir une boite à chaque bout du patch .
