Very good, however with a big downside

At the beginning, we had a happy marriage with this Furman Power Conditioner. However, as in many cases, things went south after almost a year living together.

A very audible hum started out of nothing, and was impossible to mitigate it. Being lazy to send the unit somewhere to get fixed, I opened it myself and realized that the hum mas caused by the light transformer. I just cut the cables and solver the problem in an Instant.

After that surgery, our marriage is again a happy one. However, if you are thinking about marrying one of these beauties, which I highly recommend, go for the Power Conditioner that has no lights. It will be cheaper, you won't have any problems like mine, and your marriage will last forever.

In Greece electricity is an issue. So is really necessary.
With this equipment it was very easy to coordinate power cables through my workstation. I'm ready to order another one.

*At the back side, the plastic frame of the sockets was slightly broken. Thomann had no problem to take the conditioner back and sent me another, but i refused. It works properly.

After the loss of some of my equipment I decided not to take any more risk and purchased this Conditioner. I connected everything throgh it. I didn't regret so far. There were few power cuts and this little Furman saved everything.
The light is nice but could be a bit more powerful. There is a dimmer, but even with the highest level it's not that much. Though it a good option to have at least this ones.

Often overlooked, the effect that the mains power that you use to power your amp, effects, etc. can have a massive effect on your sound, the stability & reliability of your gear, and the safety of it! Anyone who uses a valve amp as the basis of their sound will appreciate that consistent voltage plays a huge part in how the valves work, guaranteeing you sound the same night after night, in venues that often have bad and dirty mains supplies.

My band rehearses in a studio near Clapham Junction, London, underneath the busiest train station in the UK, and the Furman cured all my power problems and significantly reduced the noise in my signal path..

It is well spec'd for the price, and has great US build quality. I would say that if you are serious about your music, and your sound, this is an essential part of your kit. For less money than an average stomp box, you, your sound engineer and your audience will be grateful for the Furman. Buy one!
