Does what it says it will

I use this a blanking plate between 2 power amps in a rack case to allow ventilation.

Does exactly what you'd expect. Perfect fit and looks better than just leaving a single space in the rack empty.

Because we all know, an empty rack space is like a vacuum that must be filled. better to use a blanking plate like this or you'll end up buying another rack compressor or multi effects just to fill the space. Buy this and save yourself instead!

Overall this is an excellent product: the venting holes are spread over a very large area and are as as big as they can be, giving generous ventilation in crowded racks. My only criticism—and I'm probably just splitting hairs here—is that the product description only provides one low-resolution image that doesn't clearly show the painted finish. This lead to an expectations-vs-reality surprise, because I probably would have preferred a less matte finish. Indeed, the finish is a very grainy matte which you may or may not like. Overall though, the product is perfectly functional so I have no complaints.
