I have a background of playing dirt cheap cajons with really solid playing surfaces that don't resonate at all. This Sela cajon has a softer one so that it resonates and makes a really sweet low-end sound. I broke it while playing it very carelessly. Good for me they sell replacement parts!

Good quality cajon

Good quality and relatable to a sound samples. I like the "open corners" that makes sparking sound :) bass is also solid and with good vitality. Use in our church small groups daily.

Meine erste Cajon <3

Damit ging der ganze Wahnsinn los. Mit einer Sela Casela Satin Nut Cajon. Es ist meine erste,. liebgewonnene Cajon.

Es gibt eine ganze Menge von Dingen, die ich an der Sela richtig gut finde:

- die Idee, dass der Snare-Head unten rausnehmbar ist, falls man mal ganz ohne Snare spielen will. Mit dem Schaumstoff kann man die Snare schon sehr gut einstellen, wieviel Pitch man gerne haben möchte.

- die Sensitivität der Snare insgesamt, der "Rebound" vom Holz oben im Snarebereich. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass ich auf keiner Cajon so schnell 16tel Triolen spielen kann wie auf der Sela, einfach, weil die Hände von selbst gut bouncen. Die Snare ist wirklich ganz herausragend bei der Casela.

- der Bass gibt einen guten Druck, die Trennung zwischen Bass und Snare ist hinreichend gut für rockiges.

- insgesamt ein schöner, runder Cajon Sound, nicht so platt wie so manche andere Cajons in der Preisklasse. Je nach Schlagweise und Position kann man deutlich separierte Akzente aus der Frontplatte rauskitzeln, die das Cajon schön sprechend und groovig machen.

Was gibt es sonst noch zu bemerken?

- die Sela ist mittellaut, kann sich gut mit einer Gitarre und Gesang messen

- die Clap-Corners können sinnvoll benutzt werden und sind durchsetzungsstark

Was gibt es zu meckern?

- die Seiten (also links und rechts von der Cajon) klingen irgendwie nicht so gut durch. Wenn man bspw. für ein Bossa-Nova noch Akzente über die Seiten spielen will, dann kommt da doch eher nich so viel bzw. man muss sich schon sehr anstrengen.

Mein Fazit:

- eine wunderbare Cajon, die viele Akzente bietet, die ein wirklich sehr gutes Snare-System hat, eine gute Bass-Snare-Trennung mitbringt und die die Freude am Cajonspiel wachsen lässt. Gute Allround-Groove-Kiste, die mir als Einsteiger an der Cajon seinerzeit auch Lust auf Mehr gemacht hat.

après avoir passer énormément de temps à consulter les différents cajon de toutes marques et beaucoup de vidéos et de tests j'ai choisi celui-ci et franchement quelle bien belle surprise!!!
En effet préalablement j'avais un cajon à 100 balles sur lequel je m?éclatais déjà franchement mais alors avec celui la c'est toute autre chose, beaucoup de nuances dans les aigus les médiums et les graves, une sensibilité qui se ressent du bout des doigts ce qui permet de jouer doucement mais avec beaucoup de précision.

A ce tarif la je ne m'attendais à être malgré tout autant satisfait et franchement tant mieux!
D'autre part la qualité de fabrication et le sentiment de solidité sont au rendez vous et en plus il est beau!
Pour ma part j'ai ajouté à ce cajpn la tactic de sela et la cabassa schlagwerk qui le complètent à merveille
.
Par contre le réglage du timbre est un peu déroutant et son son plus métallique que les systèmes à corde mais même si c'est un peu perturbant aux débuts on fini par s'y habituer et à l'apprécier.

Pour conclure; je ne regrette absolument pas mon achat que je réitérerais et suggérerais sans aucune hésitations.
