Optima Mandolin Strings Chrome Special

The gauges are stated on the back of the pack as .010 .013 .022 .036 The description says, "Flat-wound" - (smooth comfortable feel). The pack states "Polished" - (even more comfortable). A and E Chrome steel. Nickel and chrome are more magnetic than iron, so more output to magnetic pickups. (Not applicable to me). This set only has 2 wound pairs. The Perfection set has 3, but I'm not sure if that would make the lighter wound string more prone to breaking? I may try those in future for comparison.

Utilizzo queste corde su consiglio di un amico mandolinista professionista. Sono super soddisfatto del prodotto per la qualita dei materiali e per la qualità del suono. Fino ad ora risultano essere le migliori corde che io abbia mai utilizzato per il mandolino. Le acquisto su thomann in quanto è il negozio che ha il prezzo più basso del web! in Italia si trovano con un prezzo maggiore di 5/6¤!

Ces cordes font le job. Le son est brillant. Au bout d'une semaine de jeu assez intensif elles n'ont pas changé. Je joue sur une mandoline de style napolitain (bowlback).
