Should have bought this a long time ago

This quick-release adapter is a simple design, but a great idea.

I play among others in a cover band where we have to set up all our own gear: instruments and amps, PA and microphones. Having the quick release adapter installed makes for easy and super-fast setup and breakdown time.

Also, having the adapter mounted on top of my K&M-stand and the microphone and mount neatly tucked away together, makes sure there is no damage during transport.

A good, practical idea if you ask me.

Is really small, no play, it is light but sturdy, can be rotated in 6 angles and released with one hand!!

Not very happy with this

This product is not cheap considering you'll have one for each mic stand.
For quickly changing microphones in a very dynamic field such as the once I'm working for it's an invaluable tool BUT it shakes a lot, the microphone inserted becomes dead unstable, that's not ok. I've had to fit electrical tape all around to have the screws fit properly then once you do it with tape it's hard to get the system working, I've had to remove the system from my working rig unfortunately, it would have been a brilliant idea if it worked.

…better than expected. Nice to have two microphone “attachments”. Especially when working with a boompole, with “flexible” microphone use.
