Not A 9.5" Rack

This case is well constructed, it looks like it should last a long time. But, it is supposed to be a 9.5" rack case. It is not. The distance in between the rails is 9.5", which is wrong. (When measuring full 19" rack devices, the measurement is the full width of the rack device, including the ears to attach to the rack case) The measurement for this case, incuding ears, is actually 11". The radio gear I want to mount can only be screwed in on one side because the attachment brackets won't reach both sides.
Due to supply chain issues and the fact that a replacement could be months away, I really can't be bothered to return this item. I will have to make some extensions myself so I can attach my rack items on both sides. Just a little bit annoying.

Hilariously bad, but fine for non fragile things

This is so bad that it is funny

The lid with the handle doesn't close tightly so it rattles around when moving

Other than that, it is fine for small non fragile things, do not put expensive stuff into it

I use it as a overkill ethercon adapter to adapt ports on my ethernet switch to ethercon and I have also put a small switch into it to extend networking capabilities

Would not call this a quality product but it does the job

I use two of these, for wireless receiver (Sennheiser EW-D) and Wireless IEM transmitter (Sennheiser G4). They are solid and do their job. The measurements are not perfectly precise, so sometimes I had to force the screws a bit into the rails, but it worked in the end. Given the price, the quality is quite adequate.
