Looks good and works right
Anonymous 09.05.2016
I bought this guitar and bass strap some time ago when I decided to give my black Rickenbacker 4003 copy a nice look and the possibility to be used on stage or just while standing.
It sure looks cool and is not as expensive as other straps on this website, but it is also not as reliable as i would like it to be.
I have to adjust the hight from now and then and the leather ends that you attach to pins have a bit worn out over time, but nothing tragical.
Although the comfort is not the best, I still like to wear it. Not just because it looks so good, but because there are far worse straps out there, especially for this price.

More shiny than the pictures.

Yep it's a lot more shiny than in the photos. And it's a bit itchy as well. Other than that it does the job.

Fire and Stone folk edition strap

Overall a fair quality and very fairly priced strap. Bought to originally use with guitar but ended up using it with mandolin - it's good for both.

The only thing I would mention is the gold colouring on the strap is much more metallic looking in real life than in the pictures.

Unbelievably tacky!

There are so many things I hate about this strap. Not a sentence I ever thought I would type! In the photo it's not clear that the strap is glittery. There is very scratchy gold and silver shiny thread woven in to the design. The result is that you could almost use it as sandpaper. Make sure you're wearing long sleeves because you don't want your skin coming in to contact with this material. The faux leather tabs at either end are sturdy enough, but are gigantic compared to the width of the strap itself. On a mandolin this not only looks ridiculous, it actually impedes the playability of the instrument. My local guitar maker and my band-mate were both equally offended by the optics of this strap. I sent this back went for the Stagg Folk Strap instead: Twice the price but 10 times the value!
