Decent stand for the price.
Mofosir 05.01.2018
Needed an extra mic stand for miking drums, bought this one since it's the cheapest, and as long as it stays upright and doesn't fall, my needs are covered. After reading the reviews I expected it to be very shabby, wonky and unstable, a lot of plastic parts, etc, but after unboxing I was pleasantly surprised. It's not the sturdies stand, of course, but it is absolutely acceptable, especially since it costs next to nothing. Tightens up nicely as well as holds weight. All the "tightening knobs" feel sturdy enough. The best part is, perhaps, it's height. It is surprisingly tall once You extend it to it's maximum. So that is quite useful if You are miking a room with high ceilings and want to get the reflections, or You want to use it for overhead mics on drums. Either way, it's good enough. For those applications. As for singing, I can't really give a comprehensive review, but I imagine that it would be acceptable in a studio or a rehearsal space, maybe not so much for live applications, then again, if You are relatively careful (and I don't mean polishing it with a microfiber cloth after every touch, but rather not knocking it down on purpose, leaning on it full weight and so on) I'm sure it'll do. Overall, got exactly what I needed, and a tad more than I expected!

It works if you don't touch it

This will do the job. But if you even breathe on the stand it wants to tip over. Not awful, but if you can, save yourself the headache and get a quality stand.

Cheap price but full features
Liukke 18.09.2020
I needed a mic stand for my home studio, something that will stay mostly in same spots and not be used that much.
It works perfectly, the price is ridiculously low and it has all the features you need.
The locks keep tight and overall it offers a great stability.

Maybe it's not suitable for live shows where you need to mistreat a mic stand every day with different people but for small home uses is the way to go.

SK
Completely Adequate

I know I did not give this product five stars, but hear me out. This stand does fall on its side when you try to set it at a right angle and extend the arm, under the weight of a standard mic. Having said that, this is a very easy and cheap fix. Just tie a 1-2kg weight plate (that will set you back about 5 euros) at the bottom and it won't move at all. After this mod it's completely usable. You don't actually need to use a plate but I would recommend it because it's a cheap solution, they are symmetrical and most often than not they are black so the colors will match. But you can use anything you want, even a pack of paper. So unless you want to buy an extremely good stand for heavy duty use in a professional studio, there is no need to spend more money on sth more expensive.
