The Ernie Ball EB6166 is a very robust volume pedal, that should satisfy the requirements of most guitar players. The build quality is very high, and should last for years. Overall I would say that I am very satisfied with this pedal, and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Ein Klassiker

Spitze ist der Tuner-Ausgang. Der arbeitet nämlich immer, egal in welcher Stellung das Volume Pedal steht. Man kann also auch beim spielen die Stimmung überprüfen. Oder eben wie üblich in der Pause die Gitarre stimmen ohne Signal an den Amp weiter zu geben. Außerdem hängt der Tuner nicht im Signalweg und verändert mangels True-Bypass den Ton.

Interna: Es gibt einen kleinen Schalter innen, wo die Platine sitzt. Damit kann man die Dynamik des Regelwegs verändern. Der Unterschied ist für meine Ohren aber minimal. Unglaublich: Davon findet man nichts in der "Gebrauchsanleitung". Super ist die Verarbeitung des Pedals. Die Konkurrenz aus Kunststoff wirkt da einfach nicht so ansprechend. Außen zwar ultra solide - aber innen gibt es Verschleißteile bei den Ernie Ball Pedalen. Man muss irgendwann wohl mal mit dem reißen der Schnur rechnen. Dafür gibt es auch extra einen Ersatz-Kit auch hier bei Thomann) mit Feder und zwei Schnüren. Die Anleitung der Montage findet man auf YouTube auf Ernie Balls Kanal. Der Auswechsel scheint eine echte Pein zu sein und ohne dieses Hilfsvideo wäre man wohl aufgeschmissen.

Le must de la pédale de volume

Certainement la pédale la plus simpliste dans sa conception, mais quelle efficacité !
Un pédale de volume légendaire, selon moi un must.
A noter que la pédale marche sans alimentation et sans pile !
Trés pratique.
Elle est très agréable à utiliser, grâce notamment à sa progression bien régulière, et la mécanique de son plateau tout à fait souple.
Le poids de ce dernier accroit ce confort, en évitant tout mouvement brusque.
Un petit test permet de déterminer sa préférence entre progression lente et rapide, ensuite, on ne touche plus à ce switch.
Question fiabilité, RAS.
Niveau son elle est remarquable ! Elle est parfaitement transparente et progressive.
En somme une excellente pédale de volume, simple d'utilisation, robuste et qui n'altère pas le son.

Hyvä putkivahvistin, hyvä kitara ja Ernie Ballin voluumipedali. Se on siinä. Mitä muuta tarvitaan?

Itselläni tämä on ollut jatkuvassa käytössä 8 vuotta eikä mitään ongelmia ole ollut. Se vain toimii. Mainio väline soiton dynamiikan säätelyyn. Tämän pedaalin toiminnan oppii sekunnissa, sen täydellinen hallinta kestää ihmisiän.

Pedaali on kalliihko, mutta kun sitä pitelee käsissä voi vain todeta että laatu maksaa. Sääliksi melkein käy sitä polkea.
