Xotic quality of build & sound!

I've had quite a few products from Xotic (BB Preamp, EP Booster, SP Comp, Wah) and this is on par with those in terms of build quality and sound. The treadle is super smooth, very sturdy, with a very even taper, perfect for pedal steel swells and precise adjustments of volume. Even considering the "no potentiometer" spec of the Lehle Volume pedal (which is also a fantastic alternative, I tested it), I'd actually rank this one slightly above because of the build, feel and size of the Xotic.

une facilité pour le volume sans toucher au potar et de plus on peut ouvrir tout grand et profiter des effets à volume réduit quand on la met en fin de pédalier

La Goldstandard könnte man dieses Pedal bezeichnen. Es ist von den Features recht ähnlich zum klassischen Ernie Ball VP Jr 250K und besitzt einen Tuner Out. Im Gegensatz zum Ernie Ball zeigt sich hier kein Einfluss auf den Sound. Das ist leider ein Konstruktionsfehler beim Ernie Ball Volume Pedal. Ebenso von Vorteil ist das kleinere Format, womit es auf jedes Board passt und nicht unnötig Platz wegnimmt. Und es hat nicht den Zugapparat mit Feder und Kordel. Das geht gerne mal kaputt und dann ist es sehr aufwändig das Ernie Ball Pedal zu reparieren.
Insofern gilt es für mich (entsprechend seiner Farbe) als absoluter Goldstandard und eher Referenzklasse als das oft gekaufte Ernie Ball VP Jr. Wer ein Volume Pedal sucht, sollte das Xotic kaufen.

Excellente gestion du volume

Je cherchais une pédale de volume qui ne sacrifie pas les aigus quand on diminue le volume : je l'ai trouvée avec la Xotic xvl- 250K. Je l'utilise après les pédales de changement de grain (overdrive, distorsion) comme un simple régulateur de volume et avant les effets de modulation et de retard comme un effet spécial (effet violon, etc. Le son reste le même quel que soit le volume en tout cas pour mon oreille...
