Ich vertraue inzwischen nur noch auf diese Saiten.
Nicht nur überzeugen sie in Klangqualität, sie behalten diese auch lange bei. Nach ca. 3 Monaten regelmäßigem Spielens lassen sie langsam nach; die Beschichtung dünnt aus, die Saite läuft an; heißt aber auch, jetzt fängt das Kernmaterial erst an zu altern.
Elixir hat damit also die Lebensdauer gegenüber unbeschichteten Saiten ca. vervierfacht.

Der Klang ist sehr voll und rund, sehr präzise aber nicht schrill.
Selbst Thomanns Eigenmarkengitarre können diese Saiten ausmachen (jetzt machen sie ja auch 20% des Instrumentenwerts aus), auf hochwertigen Instrumenten ein absolutes Muss.
