Long lasting, great tone
baouftou 28.11.2020
I use these strings on a Telecaster, set with a slightly higher action to play jazz. While i have tried many different sizes and brands i have come to a conclusion. The Elixir Nanoweb Medium bring out a great tone along with a nice punch and mids. Usually you have to make a compromise, if you do not want to change your strings very often. But these strings manage to give both a great tone but also last long. In fact they last very long. I clean them after each time i play and they usually last 3-4 months. I am really satisfied with these that i wont ever need to look for any other set.
Highly recommended!

Final Revenge 29.12.2020
After some 20 plus years of using D'addario strings I wanted to try coated strings and ended up trying Elixir. D'addario strings usually lasted me about a month before starting to sound dull. With about 3 hours of playing time a day. I'm a shredder, so the strings take a lot of abuse.
Elixir gives me about three times that time. They stay nice and crisp for long, keep that metallic chime to them. Are less noisy when sliding ones fingers across the strings.
So for the past 10 plus years I've been using Elixir and never once regretted switching brands. Highly recommended.

A review of Elixir Nanoweb Medium
AlexandrosM 01.03.2026
Since I have many guitars and I play with all of them, it is a logical decision to have coated strings so I don't have to change strings often! I usually put the 10-46 set but I wanted to try a slightly bigger gauge to see how much difference can it make. I tried first in a Stratocaster, thinking that might be a little harder to play/bent because of the scale length but I am very content with the result. The resistance is not that different in bending but the tuning stability is better. If in the Strat is good enough, then in smaller scale lengths like 24.75 is going to be even better. To conclude, my new standard is 11-49! Playability, stability, feel, durability is high and those are the important factors for me. You can try this set at least once and see the difference.
