Coming from the Rode PSA-1 this mic arm is a much better fit for my needs. Very low profile and doesn't get in the way whatsoever so I am able to see all my screens and keyboard without any obstructions. I personally like the way the cable management was implemented with this arm as it doesn't fully hide the cable but makes it feel like it's part of the aesthetic. It's overall very solid and you really can't go wrong with it!
The headline says it all. You can tighten down this arm until it doesn't fall under its own weight. Once the mic is locked, the arm still can be moved easily and smoothly without falling. The screw hardware is high quality and allows swivelling the microphone and locking down the clamp in tight spaces. (The tightening lever can be pulled up, temporarily disengaging the lever from the clamp.) There aren't any parts that will bend like the spring holder plates on cheap boom arms.
A thick microphone cable can be run along the internal channel (covered by magnetic plates) and the holes at each end are large enough for an XLR connector to pass through.
The arm fits right between a computer display and keyboard and is low enough to stay out of a display-mounted camera's field of view. This is especially true using a low-profile shock mount like the Shure A55M, Gefell EH93, or one of the Studio Projects mounts e.g. Halo or B mount.

Zeer robuust en stevig.
Houd mijn Rode nt1 goed op zijn plaats. Gemakkelijk te verplaatsen wanneer ik de mic niet gebruik. Top!
