a unique style of cable

I purchased this for a connection between an interface and a FRFR speaker cabinet (self powered).

This is the only one I could find at a reasonable price, so I purchased.

It has never been a problem and allowed me to set up my interface the way I wanted.

Good Cable for cheap Money

This Cable looks pretty Expensive although it´s not, the Quality is really good.
The only thing i had is that the metal spring on one of the end of the Cables came out a bit more than it should be but it doesn´t affect the Functionality at all.
I would buy it again.

Omistan suht vanhat Profel:n aktiiviset lähikenttämonitorit, joissa on vain XLR sisääntulot. Subwooferissani on sitä vastoin vain Left/Right-ulostulot RCA:lle tai kupareille. Nämä kaapelit kuitenkin ratkaisivat ongelman vaivatta.

XLR uros -liittimestä ei ole erityisen huonoa tai hyvää sanottavaa, mutta RCA-liitin vaikuttaa hieman huonolaatuiselta. Holkki kiertyy helposti auki ja liitin aiheuttaa herkästi poksuntaa vähänkin liikuteltaessa. Omassa järjestelmässä ne ovat kuitenkin piilossa eikä niihin tarvitse koskea, joten minkäänlaista käytännön ongelmaa ei ole ollut.

Vaikutuksista äänenlaatuun en osaa sanoa, sillä en ole käyttänyt kaiuttimia muilla kaapeleilla/kytkennöillä. Ainakin kerrostalovolyymeilla äänenlaatu on puhdas.

Das Kabel pro snake 15240 machte laufend Ärger. (Nun weiß ich ja, dass es von diesen beiden Kabeln ausging. ) Sie waren fest verbaut. Brummen und Knistern traten plötzlich auf, machmal war nichts zu merken, wie auch in den ersten 30 Tagen. Die Lötstellen waren beidseitig sauber. Hatte Kabelbruch vermutet und forschte nach weiteren Fehlerquellen in der Anlage. Dann verwendete ich bis heute Austauschkabel. -- Heute, nach Jahren, untersuchte ich die ausgesonderten Kabel erneut (vor dem Entsorgen) und fand den Fehler. Die Cinchstecker hatten, trotz sauberer Lötstellen, innerhalb ein Kontaktproblem mit der Abschirmung zum vorderen Teil des Steckers. (Quasi-Wackelkontakt). Hatte noch 2 Amphenol ACPR in Reserve liegen, die ich heute mit dem oben genannten Kabel verlötete. Problem gelöst: Die Anlage knistert und brummt nicht und läuft mit den Kabeln stöhrungsfrei, wodurch die -pro snake 15240 Audio-Adaptercable- wieder Verwendung finden. Ich empfehle, immer ein Paar Cinchstecker, Neutrik NF2 CB-3 oder Amphenol ACPR im "Lötkoffer" zu haben. (Natürlich auch hochwertige XLR-male-female und 6,3mm Neutrik NP2X-Klinkenstecker) PS. Da der Fehler (Stöhrungen) zu unbestimmten Zeiten auftrat war es bei diesem Zeitfehler zeitraubend und hielt durch laufende Fehlersuche von der Arbeit ab. -Ja, - hiterher kann man sagen. 2x Warentausch wäre sinnvoll. Fazit: Die verbauten Cinchstecker am pro snake 15240....waren damals Schrott.
