Nach dem Neukauf meiner Bassposaune (als meine 5. Posaune) stand ich vor der Frage, was ist (zumindest für die erste Zeit) ein vernünftiges Mundstück.
Nach erstem Kontakt mit Thomann wurden mir nach Rückfrage bezüglich des Modells meiner Bassposaune 5 Mundstücke zum Test empfohlen - mit dabei das Yamaha GP59.
Nach ausführlichem Test aller Mundsütcke (sehr schön: 30 Tage Testzeit!) entschied ich mich für das Yamaha.
Es spricht in der Tiefe und in der mittleren Höhe gut an und hat einen guten, runden und vollen Ton. "Drunter gesetzte" Töne in der Kontra-Lage klingen sehr gut im Gesamtklang des Posaunenchores.
Ob es auf lange Sicht DAS Mundstück für meine "große" Posaune ist, kann ich jetzt natürlich noch nicht sagen, aber zur Zeit bin ich mit ihm zufrieden.

Das GP59 von Yamaha ist mein Immerdrauf Bassmundstück für die Bigband. Ich bin von der 3. auf die 4. Posaune gewechselt. Sowohl hohe Lagen als auch tiefe sind gut spielbar. Der Klang ist professionell. Als Pedalton erreiche ich ohne jegliches Üben das G. Mit Üben wird es auch tiefer gehen. In der Bigband muss ich aber auf höhere Lagen bis zum f spielen. Geht wunderbar. Natürlich ist dieses Mundstück nichts für die erste oder zweite Posaune.
