Für mich eines der besten Mundstücke die ich kenne.
Als Musikstudent habe ich einige Zeit investiert verschiedenste Mundstücke zu testen und lande letztendlich immer wieder bei diesem.
Das Mundstück überzeugt durch leichte Ansprache, Flexibilität, klarer Artikulation und einem tollen Klang durch alle Lagen.

Ich bin mir nicht sicher ob der angegebene Kesseldurchmesser von 25,63mm korrekt ist, da es im direktem Vergleich zu anderen Mundstücken mit ähnlichen Größenangaben deutlich größer wirkt und meinem Gefühl nach eher auf die 26mm zugeht. Aber diese Maße werden direkt von Schilke so angegeben.

Das Schilke 51 L klingt sehr offen und klar, dabei aber mit der nötigen Wärme, ohne jemals muffig wirken. Zudem spricht es sehr gut an! Im direkten Vergleich mit dem Schilke 50 oder auch dem Yamaha Sullivan verleiht es meiner Yamaha Xeno das Mehr an Tiefe im Klang! Durch die recht große Bohrung ist es etwas anstrengender zu spielen, dafür wird man aber wirklich belohnt! Sehr zu empfehlen!
