I use the Schilke 50 on my Conn 88H and it feels like a perfect match: easy and clear high register, warm and focused in the middle range. A little bit small for very low register but, with a little bit more study and airflow, the 50 can work well on the whole rage.

Das Schilke 50 ist ein Allround-Mundstück ähnlich dem 6 1/2 AL von Bach. Ich spiele es auf einer Yamaha Xeno und erziele damit einen sauberen und über den gesamten Tonbereich gleichmäßigen Sound ohne Löcher. Im Gegensatz zum Bach hat es eine Bohrung von 6,8 mm und intoniert dadurch
in der Höhe sehr gut,ohne abzuwürgen. Der Rand ist relativ scharf, was mir persönlich mehr liegt, weil er dadurch sehr flexibel ist. Druckschwacher Ansatz vorausgesetzt. Wer einen vollen, knackigen Ton sucht, dem kann ich dieses Mundstück sehr empfehlen, wer's in der Höhe noch leichter mag, dem empfehle ich das Schilke 51B. Gleicher Durchmesser (25,4mm - im Gegensatz zu den abgedruckten 25,63 mm!!) aber kleinere Bohrung 6,63mm und etwas flacherer Kessel. Geht für Big-Band und Jazz sehr gut auf großen Posaunen.

Verarbeitung der Mundstücke einwandfrei, Massiver Körper mit relativ viel Masse, dadurch zentrierter Ton und kein Snuzeln. Sehr zu empfehlen!

hatte dieses zusammen mit dem 51 und 52 L getestet. Spielte vorher ein Lindberg 5cl bei dem ich aber nach ca5 min im Stück merkte wie mein Ton dünner wurde und Ausdauer schwand.

Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem 50L. Hohe Lage spricht einfach wunderbar an, sowieso Tiefe auch.

Auch Intonationsmäßig bin ich mit dem Schilke weitaus besser als mit dem 5cl unterwegs
