Great quality barndoors. Bought these with the varytec fresnel to replace our venue’s ancient Rank Strank Harmony fixtures we bought in the 90’s. these are an upgrade certainly!

Auf den ersten Blick gar nicht so schlecht, doch bei genaueren betrachten und ersten mal nutzen erwies es sich leider nicht so gut.
Es erfüllt seine Funktion und ist grundsätzlich stabil gebaut, die Flügel halten gut am Rahmen, sind schön dick und erfüllen ihren zweck reibungslos.
Aber die Montagepunkte der Flügel am Rahmen sind mit einem silbernen Metallstück gemacht worden. Alles rund herum schwarz und dann dazwischen etwas silbernen? Muss nicht sein. Silberne nieten versteh ich noch, aber das metall selber silber zu machen passt nicht. Dazu scharfe Kanten wo man sich schneiden könnten.
Ein weiterer erheblicher Mangel ist die Halterung am Spot. Dieser schwarze runde kleine rahmen ist die Halterung die wie die farbfolienhalter eingefädelt wird. Dadurch dass dies rund ist liegt es nur an 3 stellen auf und lässt sich in jede richtung um mindestens 20° drehen. Nachdem dies auch nur lose drinliegt scheppert es natürlich. Hätet man hier einen eckigen Rahmen genommen wäre dies deutlich stabiler. Würde man den Scheinwerfer verkehrt herum Montieren, kann die ganze Flügeltür sogar hinausfallen.
