Couplers unchained
Global Truss manufuctures couplers in various different designs, covering a broad spectrum of uses when combined: Directly mounting technical equipment to trusses, providing more construction freedom, or attaching lifting gear are just a few of the many possibilities. Depending on the model at hand, users can attach tensile loads from just a few kilograms to up to several hundred kilograms, with the majority of these versatile slings working seamlessly across different systems. On top of the numerous standard designs, there are also special configurations available, which come in handy during installation: In addition to the Selflock Hook, which provides a certain level of safety even with an open retaining screw, the Half Coupler "Small Quick" has a quick lock that enables fast and comfortable attachment of light to medium-weight equipment.

About Global Truss
Global Truss is a company specialising in the manufacture of aluminium products for event technology and stage construction. Headquartered in the Baden-Württemberg municipality of Karlsbad, near the city of Karlsruhe, the company has grown since its creation in 2000 to become a leading global manufacturer of trusses, with subsidiaries in the USA and Asia. Global Truss started with three different truss systems, but these have since expanded to a range of more than ten. The firm guarantees that the processes of manufacture and testing of their aluminium structures comply at every step with the highest quality and safety standards, from the raw material itself through to the production facility, right down to the individual welder.
Flexible small parts
Depending on the model, couplers can be used for many different purposes: Half couplers with wing nuts or fitting screws are the perfect choice for mounting lighting equipment or other devices directly onto trusses. On the other hand, swivel couplers ensure the firm connection of two main chords, enhancing the already very diverse construction possibilities; flexible swivel couplers will even enable a freely adjustable angle. Half couplers with half cones and spacers also enable more complex construction possibilities, while half couplers with eyelets are used for attaching shackles, steel ropes, and other slings to any point on a truss. Last but not least, the cornerbreak is a special model made of one telescopic rod and two half couplers, which come into play when overlengths are required.
