Comfortable pick

Someone that like guitar picks 29.09.2023

Until now a very good pick, it might wear down faster than a plastic one would but that's a thing i'll find out over time. I appreciate it's rigidity and sharp tip which make it easier for me to be precise when picking quick notes. Plus it is just the right size for me to grip it.

Great pick for bit brighter tone. not so grippy as Jazz III might be, but it is comletely ok.

Suono fantastico, ma durerà? E per quanto riguarda il grip?

Ai chitarristi piace comprare tanto, si sa; che si tratti di chitarre, amplificatori, effetti o più semplicemente, plettri; ed io, chitarrista convinto, non sono esente da questa tendenza.

Solo ed esclusivamente per soddisfare uno sfizio personale e NON per necessità, ho deciso di acquistare questo plettro in corno nel cui nome figura la parola ''Jazz''.

Scettico che potesse conferire un suono tipico jazz, lo scarto dalla confezione (una semplice bustina) e suono una sola nota: ''cavolo, ma è davvero ciò che promette di essere!''. Inutile dire che ho passato il pomeriggio a confrontarlo con tutti gli altri plettri a mia disposizione per sentire come il suo timbro fosse caldo ed avvolgente.

Ma dopo un pomeriggio di prove, i primi dubbi... Il grip non è dei migliori, ha una superfice lucida che lo rende molto scivoloso, da rivedere.

E la durata? E' caduto una sola volta ma la superficie di entrambe le faccie è molto graffiata. Purtoppo anche la punta ha perso qualcosina (più di qualcosina forse): è vero che ne faccio un uso intenso, ma per il prezzo al quale è venduto dovrebbe essere un pò più resistente.

Nel complesso, non male, sono abbastanza soddisfatto.

Das Plektrum hält sehr lange. Ich spiele es jetzt seit einem halben Jahr und habe es immer in der Hosentasche.

Was mich überrascht hat, war der Klang:
Beim Anschlag auf der Westerngitarre hört man nicht dieses Schnattern des Plastiks sondern direkt die Saiten.
Dank seiner Dicke ist es auch viel lauter, wenn man will.
Obwohl es kleiner als die meisten Plastik-Plektren ist, kann ich die einzelnen Saiten gut treffen und es fällt mir selten aus der Hand. Beim Dark Ebony hatte ich mehr Probleme mit dem Grip/Griff.
Besonders freut mich aber, einen Naturwerkstoff in der Hand zu haben, anstatt aus Erdöl gefertigtes Plastik.

In einer anderen Bewertung ist zu lesen, dass das Plektrum auf den Saiten kratzt. Das kann ich von meinem Plektrum nicht behaupten. Vielleicht hatte er Pech mit seinem Einzelstück.
(Ich habe mal Stahl-Plektren ausprobiert. Die haben gekratzt.)
