The overall quality is not as good as I hoped for, though this bowl is still okay. The sound is bit hmm, cracky (and not as low as I hoped for) compared to my older matte finished bowls bought elsewhere. Also I still have to find the right spot to hit to get the best sound possible. (Bigger mallet might help, too?)

We have some learning to do with my new big bowl (this really is pretty huge) though I think we will make it, step by step. :)
