Two out of two dead after few minutes
xdel 01.04.2019
Tried to feed Volta Beats using these PSUs - one seem to be dead from very beginning, the second one worked exactly once and died just after change of a wall socket. The circuitry itself is a bit questionable as you can get discharge on your fingers from input caps if you touched wall plug pins immediately after removal from the socket. Certainly don't worth $12 because it seems that any overcurrent such as Volca produces upon power-on destroys the PSU. I had a hope that multi-voltage pulsed PSU won't be bad but they are pretty bad most of the times without great dependence on the vendor.

S
not sufficient for Volca
SoundManJohn 06.10.2019
I bought this to power a Volca Modular but it does not work. It does output 9V (tested with a volt meter) but does not seem sufficient for the Volca. The official Korg KA-350 amperage is rated at 1700mA whereas this is only 1500mA. I wonder if that is the issue. Anyway, it does work with other devices like my Digitech JamMan, so it's not a complete loss.

Good but not sturdy
nurk 04.03.2020
This power supply does what it is intended at a low price.
I didn't find any problems in its functioning, but the build quality is quite cheap, with the knob to switch voltage feeling quite fragile and being difficult to tun. The adapters are ok, although they also feel quite cheap.

Universally fitting for emergency needs
somebobi 12.03.2026
I've bought this power supply a few years ago, so I can confidently post a review about it right now. It's really a must-have for anyone who's experienced a 'sudden death' of one or more DC power supplies on your precious WiFi routers (or internet modems)! This PSU will save you in such emergencies, where you have to replace a failed power supply on your network router (especially after a power outage that ends up frying the original one). You can set your needed voltage using a flat screwdriver and pick your connector tip size at the end, so you can get back to surfing the net, while waiting on your Internet Provider to come with a replacement PSU for you. In short - buy one, so you can be prepared!
