Not its intended use
Jed 10.07.2017
I bought this to be used musically and also to experiment when recording for a more organic distorted tone, like a radio voice type of thing. So I can use it live and in the studio. It gives a really nice effect when recorded.

As an actual megaphone, it's louder than I expected with a useful slider to control the volume, but the sound quality is not perfect.

The siren is a bit of a gimmick, but it is quite loud, so useful for scaring the living daylights out of your friends.

Okay for smaller venues, tends to give a lot of feedback when you open up the volume

Good for what you pay for

It does exactly what you'd need it to, comes with a siren setting, Had great fun recording with it, it is not clear, it is slightly distorted which is exactly what I was looking for.
Not as loud as anticipated but does the job

Not very powerful
TrEr 25.11.2015
This isn't the most powerful megaphone around. A person shouting into it will easily be louder than the sound actually coming from the megaphone. The siren however is PAINFULLY loud. Not recommended, get a more powerful model instead.
