Um einiges reicher an Obertönen und Kompression als ein Dunlop 212. Den Dunlop mag ich auch, aber der Unterschied im Klang ist sehr deutlich. Alleine schon die Passform und der Ausschnitt beim Rockslide, ermöglichen viel flexibleres Agieren und natürliches Bewegen des Fingers. So gelingen Licks auch besser. Der Rockslide sitzt tight auf dem kleinen Finger (schmaler Finger!). Da gibt es keine Luft, bei perfektem Tragekomfort. Der Slide ist kürzer als der Dunlop 212, d.h. Slide-Spiel über alle sechs Saiten gleichzeitig geht nicht. Wer sich ernsthaft mit dem Sliden beschäftigen möchte, der sollte am Slide nicht sparen. Absolute Empfehlung.

Der Bottleneck sitzt perfekt auf meinem kleinen Finger. Dank der Einkerbung kann ich den Finger leicht abwinkeln, was mir mehr Kontrolle gibt und das Spielen insgesamt deutlich erleichtert. Von allen Bottlenecks, die sich bisher bei mir angesammelt haben, mein Favorit! Wäre cool, wenn es noch ein paar mehr Farben geben würde.
