Taylor 327e V-Class

Just go test one yourself, that's the truest way of knowing how good these are.

I really love this guitar. I had the 317e spruce top version of this line and much prefer this one for tone. Aesthetically, it is one of the better looking guitars I've played.

The mahogany quietens the guitar and the highs found on typical Taylors; at the same time the grand pacific body shape and 13 gauge strings give more power and sustain, which compensates for the quietened dynamic of mahogany. Initially, I was afraid that warm high mids would give a boring sound to the guitar, but it's a focused sound unlike I've heard before. No crazy dissonant overtones, the fingerstyle playing is sweet on it, as advertised everywhere, but it also sounds a lot better strummed than people tell you online. I use it for singing with a mix of strumming and picking and it complements my airy tenor male voice by filling in the gaps. If it didn't have the bigger body and heavy strings, it might be a bit too subdued for me, but I would still buy it and EQ the result just so I would have the pleasure of playing this baby.

Frankly speaking, I was going to buy it later, because I wanted the 000 16 streetmaster first. But that special offer ruined my plans😁 I received both of Taylors just yesterday. 327e and the baby Koa. And now I can say that this Taylor 327e is a gorgeous guitar! Fantastic! Magic sound. After unpacking it, I played for almost 4 hours. And I just forgot about the time and everything) It's truly amazing. I started recording it. Comparing it to my other guitars. Ad27, for example, is the same body, the same bracing, but 327e sounds so much different, I can't say much better, but so different. And the pickup is way better than my American Series 22e. I'm happy. Plus, this baby taylor Koa for free😁 Very funny guitar, but it sounds good. The feeling that my mini collection keeps growing makes me happy) Martin OOO 16 streetmaster is the next step) I'm sorry for the less information about 327e itself, but I just wanted to say thanks for Thomann crew! And share my joy of having this guitars)

Ausgepackt, den ersten Akkord gespielt - wow! Brilliant in den Höhen, druckvoll in den Mitten, satt im Bass, warm und präsent zugleich. Und optisch dank der dunklen Hölzer eine absolute Augenweide. Ich habe auch eine Taylor 614ce, die klingt im direkten Vergleich etwas leiser (wg der Bauform) und einen Tick dünner. 1600 € Preisunterschied zur 327e hört (und sieht) man definitiv nicht. Taylor ist mit diesem Instrument und der neuen Bauform ein großer Wurf gelungen, dicke Empfehlung!
Update nach dem 1. Gig: Im Vergleich zur 614ce hat die 327e im Liveeinsatz deutlich weniger Feedbackprobleme im Bassbereich :-)

que je je vous "souffle" ce petit ressenti perso concernant la Taylor 327e V-class. Je vous ferais bien quelques lignes pour raconter l'attente, l'oeil radiographiant le carton d'emballage, mais bon; vous connaissez...
Etui de luxe, et ça n'est pas un vain mot. Ouverture de ce dernier et là une légère odeur difficile à décrire, peut- être celle de l'Amérique !?
La voici enfin sous mes yeux, plus belle qu'à la télé. Les différents bois foncés ( Cette particularité était très importante pour moi) se marient parfaitement entre eux. La finition de chaques détails, est top !
La prise en manche est très agréable : douce au toucher, chaude de par sa couleur de bois. On a tout de suite envie d'être intime... Le manche est un peu plus large (3mm) que celui de ma Takamine EN10 qui m'accompagne depuis 20 ans). La pression exercée par les doigts sur les cordes pour délivrer le son est douce, sensible...
Le son est sensationnel, particulier et au delà de mes espérances. Je ne joue qu'aux doigts et c'est un vrai bonheur avec ce magnifique instrument. Dans le style de jeux un peu" engagé", elle claque avec une énergie super présente, raisonnée et réconfortante, on se calme un peu avec un picking en effleurant juste un peu les cordes et là, ça vous pénètre, décollage... J'espère l'avoir encore à mon côté dans 20 ans, j'en ai 54 aujourd'hui même...
Instrument de vraiment haute qualité, sensationnel, une grande présence tant physique que sonore. Guitare émouvante à jouer, Avec ses charmes, elle se prête et semble faite pour l'écriture de belles chansons...
