Perfekt für Unterwegs

Die Squier Affinity Strat Junior ist wirklich eine schöne Gitarre, die gut in der Hand liegt. Ich habe mir diese Gitarre als Zweitinstrument für unterwegs geholt. Sie passt auch perfekt in meinen kleinen Gigbag (eigentlich für eine Parlor-Gitarre).

Es war mir unterwegs mit dem Fahrrad immer etwas umständlich mit meiner großen Hauptgitarre, außerdem hatte ich immer die Angst im Nacken, dass ich doch mal stürze und mein teures Schätzchen Schaden nimmt. Das ist mit der Squier jetzt wesentlich entspannter.

Packmaß, Gewicht und Kosten sind hier doch um einiges geringer.

Der Klang ist wirklich gut, und die Bespielbarkeit lässt keine Wünsche offen. Anfangs hatte ich das Gefühl, dass ich die Gitarre nicht ganz stimmstabil bekomme, habe dann aber einfach die Gitarre einen Halbton höher gestimmt, wodurch die Stimmstabilität sowie die Saitenspannung für mich etwas angenehmer ist (die Saitenspannung ist aufgrund der kürzeren Mensur doch merklich geringer, was aber für Anfänger auch von Vorteil sein kann). Ich werde langfristig wahrscheinlich etwas stärkere Saiten aufziehen.

Fazit: Für den Preis ein spitzen Reiseinstrument/Zweitgitarre/Jugendgitarre. Optisch für mich auch mal etwas Neues. Es lohnt sich, ein Gigbag passend zur Gitarre zu besorgen, um den Größenvorteil auch wirklich auszunutzen. Ich hätte auch von einer Singlecoil-Gitarre mehr Brummen erwartet, aber sie war extrem clean.

Super für kleine Einsteiger

Habe die Gitarre für meinen acht Jahre alten Sohn gekauft. Er kann sie super bespielen und wird es in einigen Jahren auch noch können. Der Sound ist gut, ich leihe sie mir gerne. :) Die Verarbeitung ist total ok, eine sehr solide Squier. Ich kann sie bisher sehr empfehlen. Für den Preis echt super.

Echt geile Gitarre

Die Squier Affinity Strat Junior HSS IBM ist eine wirklich gelungene Gitarre für ihren Preis. Die kürzere 24-Zoll-Mensur macht sie extrem komfortabel, besonders für Anfänger oder alle, die eine kompakte Gitarre suchen. Trotz der Größe fühlt sie sich solide an. Die HSS-Pickup-Bestückung (Humbucker am Steg, zwei Single Coils) bietet eine überraschende klangliche Vielfalt, was sie zu einem hervorragenden Allrounder macht. Man bekommt hier das klassische Strat-Design und eine gute Bespielbarkeit. Für den Einstieg oder als handliche Zweitgitarre ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis kaum zu schlagen. Eine klare Empfehlung.

Jaguar-Mensur in Stratocasterform

Stratocaster der Affinity-Reihe mit akzeptabler Hardware, guten Pickups und sehr guter Verarbeitung. Ist nicht wirklich viel kleiner als eine normalgroße Strat (7/8), aber für etwas kleinere Menschen und Hände eine prima Einsteiger- und Zweitgitarre. Kam ziemlich okay eingestellt, kann man etwas besser machen. Ein echter Geheimtipp.
