A
Disappointing - Bad QC
Alex_Mendes 22.11.2025
Mine came with a cracked fretboard. I had heard stories of this having happened with Solar guitars. I thought was a pandemic related issue. Sadly, it happened to me in 2025.
The guitar itself was also uncomfortably heavy. The colour does not look like the picture either. It is a much more faded dark navy-blue. It only clearly looks blue under direct light.
That said, the pick-ups sounded fine, with a classic Seymour Duncan sound. Higher fret access was also good. My ability to test this guitar, however, was limited by the constant buzzing caused by the fretboard crack.
I am thankful to Thomann for having swiftly processed the return of this guitar.
