This cable worked as expected unlike others you think would work with the right connections on each end. Don't waste your time with adaptors and other cables, spend the extra few euro and get this cable that works without issue

Super zum Anschluss an iPhone/iPad (Achtung bei Videocalls!)

Mit diesem Kabel kann man das Rode Wireless GO II an ein iPhone oder iPad anschließen. Sobald angeschlossen wird das Wireless GO II als Mikrophon verwendet. Konfigurieren kann man dabei nichts. Das funktioniert super zum Filmen (z.B. in der normalen Kamera App) und ist sehr praktisch.

Mit diesem Kabel kann man auch die App "RØDE Central Mobile" verwenden. Damit kann man das Wireless GO II sehr gut über das iPhone konfigurieren.
Achtung: evtl. müssen der Empfänger und die Sender einmal über die PC/Mac Software aktualisiert werden damit die App sie erkennt.

## Probleme bei Videocalls
Leider gibt es jedoch ein Problem in Videocalls: Hier wird das Wireless Go als Audiogerät für Ton Eingabe und Ausgabe verwendet.
Konsequenz: das Mikrophon funktioniert jedoch kann man die anderen Teilnehmer des Calls nicht mehr hören. Im Gegensatz zum Mac/PC kann man auf iOS die Audioausgabe nicht frei wählen...

## Alternativen
Ich finde das Kabel zu teuer und es sollte beim Wireless GO dabei sein. Wer dieses Kabel nicht kaufen will hat folgende Alternativen:

- TRRS auf TRS Adapter besorgen (z.B. Rode SC7) und über Lightning auf Kopfhörer Adapter verbinden. Evtl. ist diese Doppel-Adapter Lösung etwas günstiger, aber die Tonqualität ist theoretisch schlechter und "RØDE Central Mobile" geht dann natürlich nicht (und die ist praktisch).

- Ein original Apple "Lightning auf USB Kamera-Adapter" zusammen mit den mitgelieferten USB-A auf USB-C Kabel soll auch gehen. Allerdings kostet der Apple Adapter bereits 35€ und ist somit teurer als dieses Kabel...
