So much fun

I'm surprised that such a small thing can make so much noise. I'm not a percussionist, but there's a lot of things you can do with this drum; drag along the spring, tap the spring, cover the hole for a "whoa-whoa" effect, use it as a reverb chamber by screaming into it, etc. It also complement well with a rainstick.

Very good sound (deep) for such a small spring drum. Strong build. I also use it a lot for sounddesign in ways that are a bit unorthodox. It has handled my abuse well so far :-)

You can produce some thunder and lightning with this one. I still think it's like a toy and not a serious instrument. It's a nice addition to have in a diverse arsenal.
