The only brand for Halogen

Been using this brand for all my professional lighting since the 90’s, long lasting and most importantly, it can take the hard day to day set life, studio and location. I’ve found I’m starting to use old school lights again, you can’t beat the look.

Leuchtet, aber…

An sich tut das Leuchtmittel seinen Job gut: Es leuchtet, und zwar mit einem schönen Weiß und sehr hell. Wer allerdings wie ich auf die fixe Idee gekommen ist, alte 5-kW-Lampen mit G38-Sockel zu nehmen und diese Leuchtmittel hineinzutun, um die Scheinwerfer wieder einigermaßen ökonomisch einsetzen zu können, wird enttäuscht: Das Leuchtmittel ist um einiges kürzer als die G38-Brenner mit 3,5 oder 5 kW. Das bedeutet, der Sockel passt zwar, aber der Glühdraht sitzt nicht genau im Brennpunkt der Lampe. Fokussieren kann man den Scheinwerfer dann also nicht mehr. Da das Leuchtmittel dafür aber nichts kann, gibt's trotzdem 5 Sterne.
