Well worth the money

Undoubtedly anyone picking up these has eyed some of the cheaper ones. Well - don't. These are strong, they're durable and they're much easier to work with than many cheaper ones which try to minimize the amount of metal used. Particularly for doing tedious work like making snakes or stage boxes these are the only way to do it. And while a little superficial - the black does look very slick!

The one thing to note for some installs is that these are quite long compared to many other XLR connectors. That's great in that it adds additional strain relief and the long pins provide extra sturdyness, but for some they may have to consider using the angled connectors where space is an issue.

First class quality, gold plated connections so they will never corrode, and a secure cable connection.

I also like how easily I can change from and angled plug to a straight plug - and vice versa - without any soldering.

Ich benötige für mein Studio verlässliche qualitativ hochwertige Kabel. Hierzu konfektioniere ich selbst, somit weiß ich welche Qualität in dem Kabel steckt.

Gerne verwende ich kabelmäßig das
Sommer Cable Square 4-Core MKII Highflex und in dieser Verbindung eben die Neutrik NC3 MXX-14-B-D
(das weibliche Pendant Neutrik NC3 FXX-14-B-D)

Laut Beschreibung soll der Stecker NC3 MXX-14-B-D Kabelquerschnitte zw. 8 - 10mm aufnehmen können.
Was wichtig ist wenn das Kabel (wie o. e.) einen Querschnitt von 6.5mm hat. Jetzt mag man glauben wenn man sich rein an die Daten hält das die Zugentlastung nicht hält aber ich kann sagen "bombenfest".
Ich finde es eher fraglich ob ein dickeres Kabel noch passen könnte, nur noch mit Tricks.

Zur Verarbeitung kann ich nur sagen, TOP.
Es macht Spaß die Stecker und Buchsen zu verarbeiten.
Wenn man schon mit billig Produkten gearbeitet hat geht einem das Herz auf sobald man den Lötkolben anlegt.

Akustisch bevorzuge ich vergoldete Stecker wegen besseren elektrischen Werten und Korrosionsschutz.
Früher bevorzugte ich Silber
(auch hier bietet Neutrik Lösungen) aber Silber-kabel klingen , zumindest für meine Ohren, schwach im Bassbereich aber sehr brillant in den Höhen.
Kommt also auf die Anwendung an.

NEUTRIK ist für mein Studio immer 1.te WAHL.
Ob XLR Einbaubuchsen, Stecker, Klinke für mich kommt nur Neutrik in Frage. Wer an Kabel und Steckern spart, spart am falschen Ende. Ich habe mir schon Aufnahmen durch Billigkabel und dessen Verbindungen "versaut".
