Clean tones: transparent and high quality clean tones. Preamp is made in such a way that i cannot explain. Tone is so present and reflects the guitar tone perfectly. You can really see how different pickups dance with amp :)
Gain tones: amp has fat and roaring sound when gain is up, here you really need to play with eq which is really powerfull… again does what a tweed does but with added high fidelity…

Overall Mesa nailed it…
