Meinl Microphone Cajon Clamp

I play in a local weekly pub jam, bass usually but sometimes other bassists will turn up so I like to slide over to the cajon and lay down a beat instead. The problem is though, you can't hear the the little drum over everything else that's plugged into the house desk and amp.
Solution: buy this little clip from Meinl,.attach it to the sound hole at the back off the canon, clip in a mic (I got the t-bone SM57 clone) and, boom, you're the loudest in the bar again!

Ich brauche für 2 parallel genutzte Cajons auch 2 Klammern, nehme Cajons auch nicht so häufig auf und wollte nicht so viel Geld ausgeben.
Die Aufnahme hat auch geklappt, man kann mit dieser Halterung arbeiten.
Das aber die Flügelmutter zur Befestigung der Klammer am Gehäuse unter der Mikrostange sitzt, macht die Montage für jemanden mit etwas breiteren Händen ausgesprochen schwierig. Desgleichen die Flügelmutter für die Mikroklemme.
Nutzt man alles so, wie es im Bild gezeigt ist, sitzt das Mikro zu hoch, es empfiehlt sich, die Mikroklemme umzudrehen, dann passt es recht gut.
Gut ist, dass man die Mikroklemme auf der Schiene recht weit nach vorne und hinten verschieben kann und so mit dem Klang ein wenig spielen kann. Hätte man diese Schiene unterhalb der Flügelmutter der Gehäusebefestigung angebracht, wäre alles deutlich einfacher.
Kommt vielleicht in der Folgeversion :-)

Fazit: brauchbar, und der Besitz schmaler Hände ist bei der Montage recht hilfreich.

As shipped, it can only be used with the supplied clip, which is of poor quality.
I ordered Gator clips which are great, but I can't install them for now since the adaptor is glued into the bottom of the factory clip and the thread is something like an M5.
It looks to be possible to buy a K&M screw that will make 3/8" mounting possible (and in fact the metal part of this device is made to install those screws), but who knows when I need to order enough stuff again to avoid shipping costs for a 1.5 EUR screw to try that.
