I'm on a quest to find the perfect bass pick. Although I realise that this quite the subjective issue, I still think we can hold picks to certain objective standards.

I've tried picks in the .77 to 1.00 mm range, and found I like a heavy pick (1mm). This just feels the best on heavy bass strings (50-105). The sandy part on the pick makes it the most grippy I've ever felt, which I really liked. The bass pick for me (for now).

These picks are seriously impressive, especially for the price.

The 1.0 mm thickness feels perfect — stiff enough for precise playing but still comfortable. It gives a very controlled attack and a solid, consistent tone.

What I really like is the grip. The slightly sanded surface makes it easy to hold, even during longer sessions, and it never feels like it will slip.

Great for both recording and everyday playing. Very reliable, great tone, and excellent value.

Highly recommended.
