Nice strings with a good sound, but these are not silk and steel as the description suggests. They get dirty looking quite fast, but the tone is warm and pleasant.

Ich spiele auf meiner guten alten Takamine EN-10 immer 12 Saiten. Habe im Lauf der Zeit einige Sets ausprobiert. Elixier war auch dabei und auch wirklich gut, aber eben auch recht teuer, wenn man viel spielt und häufig wechselt. Deshalb habe ich dann länger die günstigsten Martin gekauft und dafür noch häufiger getauscht. Damit war ich recht zufrieden. Jetzt habe ich den 2. Satz Martin MA-535FX drauf und damit meine Saiten gefunden. Sie klingen sehr ausgewogen, kräftig, haben gute Höhen und sind trotzdem warm. Außerdem halten sie viel länger als andere Saiten, etwa so lange wie Elixier.
Mittlerweile spiele ich einen 11er Satz auch auf einer Western mit kleinem Body, die damit echt aufgewertet ist. Das passt.
