Good sound, poor finish

I will try be brief. It plays well and fast. The sound is huge and beautiful. I like how easy it is to do pinch harmonics. The pickup doesn't get to muddy when palm muting or with distortion. This is a perfect tool for playing Van Halen or Nuno Bettencourt stuff. But on the other hand this guitar is poorly finished. The coating on the neck feels like plastic in my hands. Their are black paint marks on the neck. The lowest fret has no coating at all. There is wood dust from drilling screws holes mixed with coating and paint in the back bridge cavity. The frets are basically raw metal, makes a scratching noise when i bend. Thankfully it does not affect the guitar playability but it is disappointing. I will only put 3 stars on average. Even though i don't really mind because i like the general look and the sound, someone else would probably be very disappointed.
