very reliable and easy to install.
I had purchased these Harley Benton strap locks along with several other products, for my Harley Benton SC500BK, which is a really heavy guitar, and single cut style guitars usually need strap locks.
These strap locks really are amazing, and very easy to install onto the guitar, and the padded strap that i had also purchased.
Considering its a very basic product with a VERY simple locking mechanism, its not different at all from how schaller strap locks work, so you're getting more than your moneys worth.
In terms of pros: very good looking, very reliable, and easy to install
In terms of cons: nothing really.
They can hold the guitar VERY well onto the strap, and no matter how hard you're jamming out, the strap locks will NEVER become unlocked from the strap buttons NOR the strap itself.
Just remember to get the right sized wrench and bolt the locking mechanism tight to the strap, and to use a screw driver to screw the buttons onto the guitar itself. other than that, its not labor intensive AT ALL, and a very good and safe modification for ANY instrument.

Yes, yes, and yes!
At first, I was a bit sceptical, as I didn't know whether they would be good or not, considering the fairly low pricetag.
When it arrived, I was a bit surprised, as they turned out to be bigger than I imagined them to be. However, not a problem at all. The packaging was flawless, and when I opened it up, it felt really good. Solid metal, nice gold finish, nice weight to it. And then when I noticed that you can take off the lock function, and use it as a normal strap button as well, I fell in love! You might not want your strap to be locked in every case, and like me only want to use it for gigging, and at home just play without a strap, and this is such a genius design!
Definetely gonna use it for my next build as well!

Pretty decent
I'd say they are pretty decent for the price. The only thing that could be better is the golden color because it wears out relatively quickly.

- Only one size screw (might not fit all guitars without ajustment)
It does one job, and it does it very well. The price can't be beat either. Fits my G5655TG perfectly.

Harley Benton Security Locks GD
I bought this for my B-450 Harley Benton 6 string bass, they where very easy to put on the pre-existing holes, they are of good quality, and very convenient for putting the strap on and off without fear of my bass falling and breaking.
9/10 I'd buy again

I own 1 pair of dunlop straplocks, which cost 25euros, and I wasn't willing to spend another 50euros just to put straplocks on my other 2 guitars.
When I saw these things I thought: 'well I can give it a try' and wow I am impressed! The installation is really easy, and they work perfectly! I have one pair of these gold ones to match my gold hardware on my guitar, and another black pair to match the black hardware on another guitar.
if I ever need a new pair of straplocks, it'll be these ones! for the price you can't get anything better. They are just as good as the dunlop ones and you save some money to spend on other gear!

No problem so far
I used them for a year now and had 0 problems, for my kind of usage (i don't do any acrobatics...)
The screws that come in the package were slightly too thin so i had to use a little piece of plastic to be sure it was holding firmly. But maybe it's my guitar's original screws to be too thick. I don't know. I tried to use them but they had a different head shape so they were not locking correctly.
