r
really really good beginner guitar
rady1 27.10.2019
this guitar plays like a 300 dollar guitar. neck is straight and plays buttery smooth. my only complaint is it's kind of on the heavy side. a customer rep told me it weights 3.2kg but it feels over 4.5kg at least! otherwise this guitar feels like a solid heavy gibson, totally gigable

Not bad, ridiculous price.

Very, very nice look and good tone. After 2 weeks dont know if need to swap pickups. It seems to sound very good. Because of body (poplar) and maple (neck) the tone is different, not gibson (epiphone) sound. But that doesnt mean bad at all. I was exchange the stock strings with 12-54's and tuning down just for fun. Amazing sound. It works...I will recommend that guitar for anyone to start to play (beginner) or second (third...billion) guitar for pros...
But again unluky shipping (default UPS), they knoked to the floor and the strap button was gone...last time they knoked to the floor upside down and the neck were broken...bad shipping...

Good product - Terrible shipping
Gio48 27.03.2026
Great product for the price and the 6.35mm cable is already included. The only downside is the lack of adjustment keys: the guitar does need a proper setup out of the box and without those tools you need to rely on a lutier.
Shipping: a disaster. I took a day off from my academic work specifically to be home for the delivery. The courier marked me as absent without even attempting to show up and dropped everything at a pickup centre. I paid 10 euros for a home delivery that never happened.
When I contacted support to report the issue, they told me they "believe what the courier says". So not only did the courier lie, but Thomann's support took the courier's side without any investigation. The customer's word counts for nothing here.
Thomann is a reliable platform with a great catalogue, but if something goes wrong with the delivery, don't expect to be treated fairly.

MR
Pretty okay

I just wanted a guitar to play some AC/DC on and this did the job. The tuners are alright. The bridge is on of my only complaints: it's a really cheap bridge, I would recommend swapping it as soon as possible.
You can definitely hear that the pickup's aren't the most expensive, but they do the job just fine if you're a beginner or just play at home. Could also be used as an inexpensive backup guitar that you won't cry over losing or scratching. But if you want to gig with it I recommend to get better tuners and a better bridge just for tuning stability, which is it's weakest point in my opinion.
Overall it's alright, you get what you pay for.
