Not long ago, it would have been unthinkable to try to put together professional music or video productions without a truckload of equipment; today, everything that is needed fits into a rucksack. The Gravity VARI-ARM M 38 ticks these boxes and then some: With this extremely practical articulated arm, all kinds of devices – such as smartphones, tablets, cameras, microphones, and lighting (to name but a few options) can be set up easily and accurately in a matter of seconds. Thanks to its rugged mounting clamp, the Gravity VARI-ARM M 38 can itself be attached to microphone stands, lighting trusses, table tops or, if necessary, a suitably sturdy tree branch. Once the user has found the perfect spot for their equipment, all the VARI-ARM's moving parts are simply fixed in place with a single rotary wing screw.

Stable construction
The solid exoskeleton of the Gravity VARI-ARM M 38 is simply a pair of robust powder-coated steel tubes. The mounting arm is 335mm long in total, with three independent joints that can be used to adjust your equipment precisely to the desired position. All three joints are fixed or released with a single adjusting screw. Even when fully extended, the M 38 can handle loads of up to 3kg, easily managing devices like professional zoom-lens cameras or heavy-duty microphones. The M 38 is locked in place with a really robust clamp which, with an operational range of 15 to 35mm, can be used to attach it almost anywhere. The 3/8" thread at one end of the mounting arm will take a mic holder or pop filter, for instance. A 1/4" reduction thread is also included, suitable for almost any camera, smartphone mount, or similar device.
