Thick enough to go low

I put these on a 27.1" seven string to tune down to F, aka Meshuggah tuning. The strings are just heavy enough to do that decently, although I think I could use just a tad more tension. The quality is good, feels good under my fingers and they've stayed in tune quite well since putting them on.

No complaints really, just really solid strings.

Habe mit diesen Saitensatz gekauft um eine 6-Saiter Gitarre auf drop-A zu spielen. Dazu sind Saiten im 60er Bereich mir definitiv zu schlapp, da spiele ich drop-C mit.

Sound der Boomers finde ich gut, vor allem für den Preis. Sie nutzen tatsächlich eher etwas schneller ab - also ist der Saitenwechsel regelmäßig nötig. Reissen tun sie dabei nicht, werden nur dumpfer mit der Zeit.

Die .074 Saite ist auf A wirklich noch straff auf meiner SG (nachdem ich natürlich feilen musste.
Ich Frage mich welchen Sinn die .064er efüllt... Ich habe sie weggelassen um mit einem 10er Satz Wieder einen 7-saitigen Satz (für C-Tuning) zu bekommen.
Ich kombiniere den Satz noch mit einer umsponnenen .018 Saite und habe damit 5 umwickelte Saiten - sieht gut aus und macht Druck. Dachte ich hätte damit 6 die .064er passt eben nicht von der Spannung her.
