strings for Weissenborn or resonator guitar

I am always searching new sets for my Weissenborn lap steel guitar as I like to change the tunings and therefore the gauges of the sets. These strings are good for a C or D open tunings, the sound is ok, somehow less loud than previous strings I used.

Cordes GHS pour open G - 5 étoiles

J'ai monté ces cordes sur une guitare à résonateur Höfner. Accordage en open G. Après une quarantaine d'heures de jeu, je peux dire que ces cordes tiennent parfaitement l'accordage ainsi qu'un son brillant et cristallin. Toujours pas de corrosion. Le son est irréprochable en slide et très bon en jeu conventionnel (Roméo & Juliette par exemple). Médiator ou pas ça sonne dans toutes les conditions. Le diamètre de ce jeu est idéal pour ce type d'accordage et de guitare. Bref que du bonheur. A acheter (et à jouer) les yeux fermés.

Gut für Resonator Gitarren

Ich bin auf diese Saiten gekommen, nachdem ich meine National Resophonic mit einem Humbucker zur Abnahme nachgerüstet habe. Da mussten jetzt Nickel Saiten her und bei meinem bevorzugten Hersteller Daddario bin ich leider nicht fündig geworden. Mit den GHS Saiten bin ich sehr zufrieden. Das Spielgefühl ist gut und der Ton genau nach meinen Vorstellungen. Ich spiele die Reso nur mit einem Messing Bottelneck und dafür passen die GHS genau. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

cuerdas de sonido "delta" para Dobro con pastilla magnetica. Para slide.

Adquirí un Dobro electrificado Airline B-Stock en Thomann y por cortesía pude elegir un juego de cuerdas, ya que los que tenía puesto eran de fosforo/bronce del 0,12 y no aptos para el slide.
En mis guitarras resonadores suelo usar cuerdas de fosforo/bronze del 0,16. Dan un sonido redondo, cálido y a la vez con brillo. Pero en la Airline con pastilla de humbucker en el mástil suenan mucho mejor cuerdas de nickel, por tener mejores calidades magnéticas. Y los GHS 1600 han cumplido con mis expectativas y me gusta el acabado "semi-flat". En cuanto a durabilidad puedo decir poco. Pero confío que duraran bastante más que las de bronze.
Para los que buscáis cuerdas con sonido "delta" que se comportan bien en una guitarra dobro/resonadora con pastilla magnética, probar estas sin duda.
Y gracias a Thomann por el detalle y el rapidísimo envío (como de costumbre)
