I bought two of these guys, one is working perfectly, but the other gives no signs of life. I assume it is some factory issue - quality control mistake.
I did not check them while I was in Germany, so now it costs more to return the product, then the actual value of the product.

Auf der Suche nach einem Kleinen und günstigen DMX-Splitter bin ich zwangsläufig an dem von Fun Generation hängen geblieben - alle anderen sind entweder zu teuer, zu groß oder beides oder eben billige China-Kästen, die es nicht beim Fachhändler gibt und denen ich das Wohl meiner Veranstaltung lieber nicht anvertraue.
Dieser DMX-Splitter ist genau das, was ich gesucht habe: eine relativ kleine Box (nicht zu klein & sehr stabil noch dazu), die einfach ein DMX-Signal auf 2 getrennte und unabhänge aufteilt. Dabei hat man bei Ein- und Ausgang jeweils die Wahl zwischen 3 und 5 pol, was mir schon mal den Abend gerettet hat (Adapter vergessen). Ich konnte sogar beide Ausgänge (3&5pol) gleichzeitig benutzen, obwohl das natürlich nicht zu empfehlen ist.
Gemessen habe ich nichts, und es lassen sich leider auch keine Infos zur internen Verschaltung und der Art des DMX-Split gefunden. Muss man wohl mal aufschrauben...
Alles in allem eine gute kleine Kiste, die nicht zu viel kostet, ihren Dienst aber ordentlich verrichtet. Ist zu empfehlen!
