To be honest I bought it only because of a pattern that reminds me the pattern on a carpet at my parents' house. I use it with my electric bass guitar and what I can say, it's a thin strap and not that soft as i expected from a strap. Basically it's kinda textile one with no softening parts. As for me it suits all my needs, so i'm happy, but i wouldn't buy it for my electric guitar which i play much more

Cheap, robust, aesthetically pleasing, finish friendly

There are many vintage straps out there, all shiny with their leather ends and metal buckles, but they are in general quite expensive, and I fear the metal buckle could ruin the guitar finish when in the case. This Ernie-Ball strap on the other hand is pretty cheap, definitively confortable, robust and finish-friendly, while close enough to a vintage one to satisfy my aesthetic sense. Recommended.
