Epiphone Les Paul Special TV Yellow

You cannot go wrong with this guitar. Awesome finish, better than the Gibson TV Yellow I bought adn sent back to Gibson. I confess that the P90 from Gibson sounds to have more clarity, bit less bright for my taste. You can search as much as you want and especificly at this model, Epi x Gibson, all reviews say the same. With an Epi like this, doesnt make sense getting a Gibson, at least for this model and I am sure for others as well. And buying from Thoman make all even better.

This is a really good budget option if Your looking for a Special Les Paul, the 50?s neck profile is amazing! the overall quality is good, the paint job and knobs quality can and should improve.

Rewired it to 50s spec, pickup selector switch isn't great.

It is an awesome guitar! build quality is really good for the price, though I did spot some minor sanding flaws on the body. I guess it is to to be expected. the strings were set up a little high from the factory but it was a quick fix. the guitar sounds very bright and punchy on the bridge, though the neck pickup could have some more character IMO. great job Epiphone! it is far better than I expected and I am very pleased.
