Good pedal, not my favorite fuzz

I bought this bass pedal so I can accommodate the issue of losing low end frequencies with a fuzz/distorted sound live. The lower octave does well to cover the lack of lows when switching to fuzz. I have to push it to max, but then the switch between clean and distorted sound is seamless in the bass frequencies.

The only problem I found was that the fuzz itself, even when set to the non bright option, is very wet and high. You can manipulate that from the tone and blend knobs, but it is still not as punchy as other pedals.

On est sur de la Lizard Queen ++, grâce au Tone et au Blend.

Le Blend est pour moi indispensable à la basse, pour mixer le "dry" et le "wet".
Testé sur guitare aussi, avec l'octave à fond on est vraiment dans la fuzz vintage.

Ayant possédé l'Octavix de la même marque, je ne peux que conseiller cette pédale, aux gratteux comme aux bassistes à la recherche d'une excellente fuzz.

Manchmal geil, manchmal nicht…

Ich wollte mal einen richtig schön knarzigen Basssound ausprobieren. Mit Kopfhörern zu Hause an verschiedenen digitalen Amps hat das auch ziemlich gut funktioniert und es waren auch viele andere Sounds drin. Im Proberaum an verschiedenen echten Amps, tut sich der Lizard King aber doch schwer, matscht und brummt und ist schlecht zu händeln. Es kommt also wie immer und bei diesem Fuzz besonders, auf die ganze Zusammenstellung des Equipments an. Mit Bass XY an dem einen Amp kann es mega klingen und wenn man nur eine Sache austauscht, ist alles ganz anders und leider zu oft nicht gut mit dem Lizard King… es ist also doch eher ne Diva…

Octaver gibt dem ganzen n extra kick.
