Ich hatte mehrere Plektren zum Ausprobieren gekauft, die eher rund als spitz zulaufen, da mir die klassische 351er Form am besten gefällt, wenn ich sie rundgespielt habe.
Mit den Außenmaßen von 28x28 (in mm) ist es minimal breiter als ein 351er, dafür aber auch ein paar Milimeter kürzer.
Es lässt sich problemlos auch kürzer halten.
Dem Grip habe ich nur vier Punkte gegeben, da manche Leute ja Probleme mit glatten Plektren haben, was bei mir selbst nicht der Fall ist. Die Oberfläche ist aber etwas griffiger als bei Celluloid.
Bei längerem Spielen wird mir das Plektrum für den Daumen etwas unangenehm, weil es seine Bewegungsfreiheit ein klein wenig verringert.
Ohne Verstärker hört man ein deutlich wahrnehmbares Spielgeräusch, das durch einen Verstärker aber bei Weitem nicht so stark zu hören ist.
Unterstütz durch die Dicke und möglicherweise auch das Material nutzt es sich extrem langsam ab und hält damit sehr lange Zeit.
Zur Verarbeitung ist noch anzumerken, dass es für Rechtshänder vorgeschliffen ist.
