Clean-cut with excellent grip

A nice versatile plectrum with a reliable grip. Feels a little less flexible compared to Dunlop’s other grey nylon 0.6mm pick, but not by a lot. Very useable and, price-wise, a good deal for a dozen.

Can Dunlop even do a bad product ? Besides being the best company in terms of pedals with MXR, and Straps ... Is Dunlop ever gonna stop ?

They may develop bigger products but with this they also prove that details matter, and I've never played more comfortably than with those pickups. Firstly because they stay in your fingers thanks to the grip, and secondly because they just feel good !

I was playing with 73's before, and I always thought they hit too "hard" my strings so I gave 60's a chance and was I right ?! Some may be surprised but these play way faster (In my opinion) than bigger gauges picks ... And they can also hit hard, your playing is more controlled in a way. You can play soft melodies as good as hard riffs ...

I think that picks must fit your way of playing and enhance it rather than control it. In my case it was really a revelation.

In terms of durability they could be improved a little but I play really hard sometimes so I won't judge them too hard.

Maximum grip, minimum tension

I originally tried the EVH pick one day because of the cool colour/design. I ended up sticking with it because it made my picking hand feel much less tense. The Max-Grip surface really does what it says — this thing is grippy.

Sweeps feel easier, and I find I can get more layers of dynamics into my playing. It also seems to bring out that slightly heavier sound I like. Surprisingly, I even find pinch harmonics easier to hit when I actually want them, rather than accidentally discovering them at random. 😎

I used purple Tortex 1.14 mm picks for about 10 years, so switching to a 0.60 mm nylon pick was definitely a change. But I really like how much control and flexibility this one gives me.

The colour is admittedly a bit boring, but at less than half the price of the EVH pick, and basically the same price per pick, I can live with that.

Maximum grip, maximum control, minimum price. 🤘😎
