Bought for looks, pleasantly suprised by tone

I will confess that I bought these strings solely for their look for playing live, which is very cool, allowing for some jedi moments on stage depending on the lighting. But aside from the gimmick, the tone of these coated strings holds up against any brand for any style you can throw at it. The coating also reduced the friction on the fingers so adds a new level of comfort to sliding up and down the fretboard, slapping and popping.

The glow does fade after a while but the strings stay crisp and fresh sounding for long after. Definitely worth a purchase.

lets be honest. we buy these neon strings only for their neon glow. otherwise there are match better strings to choose from.

these set of whites it seems beeter than the yellow i have tried before. they have a smooth feeling on your fingers same as the yellow and seem to give more options in their sound. they have a good bright sound but allso give a warm and deeper when its needed. the most important, so far they dont have any sign of loosing their neon glow colour ( which is the main reason someone would buy them i believe) while the yellow set started faded after 3 - 4 hours of playing. also their life span is not too short but neither too long.

overall as i said if you want to make your bass look beautiful or more beatuful than how it looks with common strings get your matching colour set. if not, you have many options of better sounding strings and in more reasonable price.

Just put these on my bass they look and sound fantastic, they work in normal light but look better with a black light if you can get a small one on stage. I've always used DR strings they sound great.

Look good but with a very weak and uneven sound. Also the coating comes off when playing with pick and near the frets.
