About Denon

The Japanese-American company Denon was founded in 1910 and established itself as a leading brand in the 1930s. It has long stood for ground-breaking technological innovations that were frequently world firsts in their time. Denon's passion for invention has produced many remarkable technologies, including the first professionally usable recording device for gramophone records (1939), the first Japanese stereo records and stereo systems (1951), and the first PCM recorder, which was based on the same principle as today's CDs (1970). In 1982, Denon launched the first CD player for home use, the DCD-2000, another milestone among its already widespread innovations. A world of music

Just like its predecessor the Prime 4, the Denon DJ Prime 4+ comes equipped with two independent microphone channels, two effects sections, and a comprehensive deck and mixing section capable of controlling up to four decks at once. With a total of four USB inputs, an SD card slot, a bay for an internal SATA hard drive, and connectivity for up to four line devices (or even two turntables), the Denon DJ Prime 4+ opens up a world of musical possibilities. In addition to the standard master and booth outputs, there is an extra zone output that can be used to play a separate, pre-defined playlist for another room in parallel with the DJ set. On top of that, thanks to its integrated sampling function, the Denon DJ Prime 4+ can record and save any DJ set it's being used to create.

But with the increasing capabilities of both hardware and software, a number of DJ gear manufacturers – including Denon DJ – have recently been able to integrate this feature into their devices, gradually making that dream a reality. The Denon DJ Prime 4+ takes this all a step further, by eliminating the need for a user to connect their laptop to the system; the controller itself has enough processing power to enable real-time stem separation in standalone mode. This means a capella vocals, rolling basslines, or instrumental hooks can now be cut seamlessly from their original sources and activated for any track the Prime 4+ is currently playing – live and at the touch of a button. Vocals from one song can be combined with the instrumental of another, then reworked with a new drum track – the creative possibilites are endless.

Een zeer goed panneel met 4 deck support zonder dat je een computer moet verbinden. Dat nog beter wordt als je LC6000 of LC5000 er meer verbind.
Sptijgig dat als je iets op de line ingang zet je er geen fx meer op kan gebruiken.
Met dat het panneel wifi heeft is het updaten van de software heel gemakkelijk en hoe je zelf ook niet bij te houden of er een nieuwe versie is.

Honestly, I've been having an absolute blast with this since I got it. I used to DJ in clubs a long long time ago, like 20+ years ago, so picking DJing back up again it felt a lot to learn going digital and I was a little sceptical, but this has been absolutely brilliant. It's quite a complicated machine, but very intuitive. I've managed to get my partner into mixing for a bit of fun too, and she picked it up straight away, despite so many knobs, buttons and flashing lights. The hardware itself is solid, feels good and like a high end device. In the short time I've had it it's already received a few solid updates that have expanded on its functionality. I think it's been incredible and exactly what I needed to get back into DJing and have a ton of fun. I'm quite sure I'm not even using half of its full potential too, so I'm sure there is so much more fun to get out of it yet. An excellent machine. Thomann were great too.
